- Studied technical illustration at the North East London College of Art from 1966. Worked in London for illustration and advertising agencies including Ted Bates ending up at Young and Rubicam/Cato Johnson as senior designer. Left to go freelance then started Designlab design and marketing company near Colchester in Essex. Now based in the hamlet of Mouhous in the Pyrenees Atlantique department 64 in south west France where I returned to landscape painting, illustration, design and photography. As well as renovating our Bearnese house my wife and I run run creative holidays including art and writing and wine tours. www.breakaway-to-bearn.com
